How it works

Three clear stages, with enough detail up front to make the valuation useful and no obligation to go ahead.

Straightforward from start to finish

See the journey before you even fill in the form

The process is designed to be simple: give us the key vehicle details, receive a considered response and then decide whether you want to move ahead. That means fewer surprises and a much more useful first conversation.

✓Tell us the important details at the start.
✓Review the valuation with no obligation.
✓Arrange collection only if the offer suits you.

Send the vehicle details

Registration, mileage, condition, history, faults and optional photos help us understand what you are selling.

Discuss the valuation

We review the information and contact you. Ask questions, compare the figure and decide whether you want to continue.

Confirm & collect

If you accept, we agree the practical details, check the vehicle and paperwork, and arrange collection at a suitable time.

Step 1: give us accurate information

The registration number is a convenient place to begin, but no responsible vehicle buyer should pretend that a number plate alone tells the whole story. Mileage, mechanical condition, bodywork, service history, MOT status, keys and finance can all affect a valuation. That is why the new website uses a short multi-step form instead of one long wall of boxes.

Complete as much as you can. If you do not know an answer, leave an optional field blank rather than guessing. If the car has damage or a warning light, say so. You can attach up to five photographs to show the exterior, interior or a specific problem.

Step 2: we review the enquiry

Once submitted, the details are sent securely to our sales email account. A member of the team can then look at the full picture and contact you by phone, text or email, depending on the preference you selected. The valuation is not an obligation to sell. It is your opportunity to decide whether the proposed figure and process are suitable.

Any initial valuation relies on the information supplied. If the mileage, specification, condition or history is materially different when the vehicle is inspected, the final figure may need to change. The easiest way to avoid that is simply to be open at the form stage.

Step 3: agree collection and complete the sale

If you choose to proceed, we arrange a convenient time and place to see and collect the vehicle within our operating area. Have the V5C logbook, keys, service records and any other relevant documents ready. For vehicles with outstanding finance, a current settlement figure is useful so the correct process can be agreed before handover.

Payment and ownership transfer should be completed as part of the agreed handover process. Never release a vehicle, keys or paperwork until the agreed payment arrangements are clear and you are satisfied that the transaction is complete.

Based in South Wales: our service is aimed at sellers in Cardiff and surrounding South Wales communities. Enter your collection postcode in the form and we can confirm availability.

What should I prepare before requesting a valuation?

Check the odometer for the current mileage, find the V5C if available, note when the MOT expires and gather any service records. If there is finance outstanding, ask the lender for a settlement figure. For damaged vehicles, take clear daylight photographs from several angles. These simple steps make the first conversation faster and help us give you a more realistic response.
